Nightstar: Alliance is an original take on a VR space shooter game that I created along with two other game developers.
This game is a sequel to the original Nightstar (PC, VR) that I released on Steam in 2017.
I was responsible for all the art, VFX, sounds, and a good portion of the game’s code.
Nighstar: Alliance was a bit of an experiment to hone our skills with game design, programming, and art.
It ended up being quite successful for its niche and is to this day a popular game mainly because of its reputation on VR arcades.
I designed systems such as modular ship building, special weapons unlocks, not to mention the pixel art characters.
